Should homeowners own the domain of their property?
Jim goes so far as to imagine a day when a domain gets passed along with the real property. While the conversation is largely irrelevant in today’s market, I find the topic strangely compelling and even start wondering about random ramifications. For example, how well would a URL have to rank in Google before it would increase the value of the home?

Dustin, That’s actually very interesting. It also brings up all the property address domains that REALTORS(R) purchase. If they buy these for a year or so they will not be available if the homowners decides to buy it. Maybe we should step in and start buying up addresses? Wonder why Zillow hasn’t done this yet.
