They sure has done an impressive work and it will be interesting to follow their global approach. Entering US?
However, they do have to work their coverage in Sweden…
Anyway, using their service is a brilliant way to find brokers in a country you have limited knowledge about.

I can’t help but wonder about the potential US launch as well… Maybe some day…

Dave from the REA Group here.
I work at a real estate website company that’s not exactly a competitor to properazzi but is following a different model.
Magnus, I think your comment points out the problem with the site scraping model. The results can work as a way to find agents, but I wouldn’t want to use it for an actual property search.
Because it’s not getting up-to-date property feeds direct from agents, between the times it scrapes each site, won’t it be missing whatever new properties come on the market and won’t it still be showing properties that have already sold?
Nice post, Dustin.

Dave,
I can only agree that the scrapping model just doesn’t make sense when others in the space are getting direct feeds, which is pretty much the entire US. Although I can see how in other markets if there was no central depository for local listings, it could be a different story…

Hi Dustin,
I have to disagree with Dave’s comment.
Properazzi is indeed a great way to find agents, but it’s also a terrific way to search real estate listings!
The rapid growth of Properazzi from zero to more than 1 million property buyers per month in just a year is a pretty good indication that we are providing great value to both participating agents and consumers.
Properazzi also uses very advanced technology to ensure that agency listings are kept fully updated and fresh.
Best,
Yannick

Great job Yannick! I wonder if it also work with listings from individuals and direct owners. In markets like Spain, where many listings come from owners (osting in sites such as Idealista) does your model work?
Good luck!
