Banish the monsters!

Do you want your own “avatar” to show up next to your name when you leave a comment on 4realz instead of one of those cute monsters?

I’m using a tool called gravatar to provide the “avatars” so simply sign up for a free gravatar, upload the image of your choice, the 4realz.net backend (with a lot of help from gravatar) will take care of the rest.  ;)

  6. I created one of those cartoon avatars as well, but it looks nothing like me. I’m thinking I might need my wife to make one of me since she probably has a better grasp of what I look like! ;)

  10. :( It didn’t work.

Ardell: all it is really looking at is your email address, and I noticed you used your raincityguide.com address for this comment. For the avatar to automatically show up, you’ll need to add your @raincityguide.com to your gravatar account.

  11. [...] I also wanted to mention that we added “avatars” for all people leaving comments.   If you want your own avatar, it’s as simple as signing up for a free one at gravatar.com (and explained in a bit more detail on 4realz). [...]
