I got multiple emails this morning referencing the fact that it looks like Trulia has taken a huge SEO hit. Eric makes a convincing case that one of trulia’s subdomain got hacked… (Brad gives some of some of the more interesting parts of trulia’s SEO past)
Important to set expectations appropriately: z57’s “top-performing online marketing solution” will guarantee one visitor a day to your real estate website. Wow!
Interesitng to read the coverage of Roost’s $8M VC round on TechCrunch. When conversation turned to traffic, I ran my usual barometer and was surprised to notice they’re arguably not even at RCG levels of traffic yet.

Been playing with BusinessWeek’s digg-like tool & started a group: online real estate. The tool, business exchange, is really quiet right now, but I’ve accutally seen some decent traffic from articles I’ve submitted that link to RCG. I think there’s a there there, so consider joining me and pushing the tool a bit.
In a conversation earlier today, someone asked me if I had heard of ActiveRain’s new product (I hadn’t). In trying to explain it to me, we both got lost. Nonetheless, in reading the comments, it’s obviously got the base excited.
Regarding budurl, here are are some quick results from the 4 budURL’s I’ve created so far… 
But probably more interesting, you can see timestamp, notes, referrer and IP (I’m not including IP in the screenshot for privacy reasons, but it’s there).
Initially, the stream was dominated by the link back to the hotlist, but after posting a link to a Flickr photo about 10 minutes later, that obvoiusly took over. Interesting, I’m going to assume that all the “blank” referrers are coming from twitter clients like twirl.
It’s only 15 minutes into my test and I’m liking it already!
